Geoff Raisbeck


Geoff is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. He holds a Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering .

Sean McKirdy

Director – Mechanical Engineering

Seán joined R B Plant Construction in January 2017 as Senior Projects Mechanical Engineer.

In 2018 Seán was invited to join the Board of Directors of RB Plant Construction Limited.

Mike Wolfe

Director – Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (E I & C) Engineering

Mike joined RB Plant Construction in May 2004 as a Senior E, I & C Engineer.

Mike has 34 years of industry experience working in various roles (including Project Management) within multidisciplinary teams.

Simon Denniss

Managing Director

Simon has over 30 years of extensive experience and a proven track record in delivering high value, logistically complex and challenging projects to meet aggressive cost, quality, safety and timescale targets.

Jon Horne

Process Engineering Director

Jon is an experienced Engineering professional operating at Director Level. He holds responsibility for a team of Process Engineers who work on numerous projects across different Industrial Sectors.

Jon owes much of his and the department's success to his flexible and 'leading by example' approach with a proven ability to deliver innovative and value engineered solutions.

Dave Wise

Director – Procurement

Dave joined RB Plant in September 1992 bringing over 10 years of management experience.

In 1995 Dave took on responsibility for Purchasing and in 1996 that of Site Services Operations, Project Management followed on.

Patrick Robinson

Project Manager/ Mechanical Engineer

Patrick is a highly qualified Senior Mechanical Engineer who has considerable experience within the precious metals, cement, glasswool, pharmaceutical, food, dairy and fine chemicals industries on a wide range of major project engineering Design / Manage / Construction contracts.

Amanda Collecott

Document Controller, Quality Manager & Senior Secretary

Office Manager, Quality & Environment Manager and Senior Secretary Amanda describes herself as willing and able to administer every aspect of project documentation, reporting, presentation, procurement, finance and assurance.

Genghis Perriman

Business Development Manager

Genghis joined R B Plant in July 2017 as a Senior Process Engineer, thereafter transitioning into Business Development.

He has a proven track record in achieving successful outcomes for clients through a combination of applying technical expertise and a sharp level of commercial acumen.

Chris Dill-Russell

Senior Process Engineer

Chris is a degree-qualified Chartered Chemical Engineer with over 30 years of process engineering, process safety, project management, production management, and technical management experience.

This has been gained in the Fuel storage sector and Pharmaceutical industries with specialist expertise in Process safety, HAZOPs, ATEX/DSEAR, SIL/LOPA and value engineering option studies.

Mitchell Carter

Senior Process Engineer

Mitch joined RB Plant as a Process Engineer with a First Class MEng degree in Chemical Engineering.

Mitch has experience in process engineering, gained from pharmaceutical, energy, steel, oil additives and chemical industries.

Dominic Kempt

Process Engineer

Dominic graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Chemical Engineering Master’s degree in August 2018.

His 3rd year design project was based on sulphuric acid recovery, and his 4th year research project on the generation and manipulation of polymeric microspheres.

Simon Sykes

Process Engineer

Simon gained his Chemical Engineering MEng Hons, 1st Class degree at Newcastle University in 2016.

He is a self-motivated, results-driven process engineer, with wider business acumen gained through Kerry Graduate Scheme, starting in operations to gain management experience then moving to engineering to exercise passion for chemical engineering.

Paul Grigg

Senior EC&I Engineer

Paul is a highly experienced and enthusiastic Engineer with extensive experience covering a broad spectrum of electrical, instrument and controls work.

Rob Day

Senior EC&I Engineer

Robert is an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the Nuclear industry.

Mike Sisterson

Senior Civil & Structural Engineer

Considerable experience having been responsible for a wide range of major Civil / Structural / Building / Infrastructure and Process Design / Manage / Construction contracts.

Lauriann Williams

Civil & Structural Engineer

Lauriann graduated from the University of East London with a 2:1 degree in August 2018.

Lauriann has experience in civil and structural engineering, gained from pharmaceutical, energy, and concrete/aggregate industries.

Marcus Burgess

Mechanical Engineer

Marcus attainted a First-Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering (Fully Accredited by IMechE) at the University of Surrey.

Since being at RB Plant he has worked on multiple projects in a wide range of sectors.

Matthew Taylor

Mechanical Engineer

Matthew is an experienced mechanical design engineer with extensive HVAC and refrigeration knowledge.

Mathew has worked within a number of different industries including marine, aerospace and metals processing.

Phil Battershill

Electrical / Mechanical CAD Designer

Phil joined RB Plant in November 2011 as an Electrical Draughtsman.

Phil has 33 years of industry experience working for various companies. 15 years were in the Oil & Gas industry working for H&G/Kvaerner.

Ian Watson

Mechanical CAD Designer

Ian has considerable experience in conceptual studies, FEED and detailed design.

Gained within the Oil & Gas industry as a piping designer and pipe support designer of offshore oil & gas platforms, FPSO and onshore petrochemical plants.
