Geoff Raisbeck

Chairman

Geoff joined RB Plant in April 2018 as Managing Director then transitioning to Chairman in June 2022 handing over the Managing Director role to Simon Denniss.

Geoff is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, he holds a Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering .

Prior to joining RB Plant, Geoff had a successful career in Harsco Corp, as Vice President of Engineering and Technology, managing a global multi-disciplined engineering department of 50 people.  Harsco are a diversified global service organisation in the metals industry operating in 35 countries and over 140 operating sites.

Geoff began his career in the Teesside steel industry as a technical apprentice before studying for his degree on a sandwich course. He is an experienced project manager and has managed projects in various locations with varying capital costs, always striving to deliver value on time and on budget.

Geoff’s interests vary from Clay pigeon shooting to classic motorcycles.
