Matthew is an experienced mechanical design engineer with extensive HVAC and refrigeration knowledge. Mathew has worked within a number of different industries including marine, aerospace and metals processing. Matthew has recent experience of industrial piping system design, and structural stress analysis.
Matthew has a First-Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol.

Marcus is a highly dynamic and ambitious mechanical design engineer at RB Plant who currently holds the role of Design Office team leader. He has proven his credentials by combining his highly analytical mind and critical thinking with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Marcus adopts a “lead by example” attitude which inspires and brings the best out of his team members.
As well as having attention for detail, Marcus can also address the bigger picture thereby constantly identifying and implementing opportunities to further enhance the efficacy of the design office performance. This therefore brings innovation and collaboration to our workflows to accomplish deliverables more effectively and efficiently.
Electrical/Mechanical CAD Designer
Phil joined RB Plant in November 2011 as an Electrical Draughtsman.
Phil has 33 years industry experience working for various companies. 15 years were in the Oil & Gas industry working for H&G/Kvaerner. 3 years was working in the building façade cleaning equipment industry for OCS Cradle Runways. He also spent 8 years working at Pfizer in the drawing office.
Phil was working for the Instrumentation and Control department whilst at H&G/Kvaerner, he also did an 18 Month spell at AMEC Construction Site in Wallsend for Phillips Petroleum for Kvaerner as the Instrument/Electrical and Telecoms Site / Office liaison.
Phil was involved in the design and engineering of façade cleaning equipment for OCS Cradle Runways, producing mechanical layouts and detailing the equipment parts for manufacture, also laying out the tracks that the cleaning machines ran on.
The years Phil spent at Pfizer in the drawing office, he was involved in site surveying for the installation of new equipment. He was also involved in getting their existing engineering drawings up to as-built status.
At RB Plant, Phil’s main responsibility is as an Electrical & Control Draughtsman. He also produces P&ID’s, as well as 3D modelling of piping systems. He also does site surveys for various jobs.
Phil holds an HNC in Process Plant Engineering from Richmond Upon Thames College.
Mechanical CAD Designer
Ian has considerable experience in conceptual studies, FEED and detailed design within the Oil & Gas industry as a piping designer and pipe support designer of offshore oil & gas platforms, FPSO and onshore petrochemical plants.
Ian’s positions and major responsibilities include producing designs for piping systems and equipment layouts for procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and safe operation.
