This year is the 50th celebration of RB Plant’s foundation, to celebrate the event a garden party was held in the grounds of RB House.
130 people attended the event ranging from previous employees, some of the Bishop family, and current employees with their families. Complete with magician, barbecue and bar, plus conducted tours of RB House, memories were shared and old acquaintances renewed over a glass of champagne or two. To compliment the day the sunshine was glorious and Jeff Davies, RB Plant’s Chairman, gave a congratulatory speech to all thanking them for their attendance and service, with some vivid recollections and memories of his working time with the founder Mr Richard Bishop.
A bi-centennial celebration for an engineering consultancy is indeed a great achievement especially a family company, the milestone is a tribute to the dedication of all the staff who have contributed to the success of the company and to this day is reflected in the loyalty of our main customers, many of which have remained special to the business for decades due to the outstanding work completed by RB Plant. We remain committed to continuing in the strong traditions laid down by the founder and carried on into the future.
