What an exciting and busy week for RB Plant at the PPMA show, Birmingham! It was a privilege to be hosting at such a highly respected and well attended event. We would also like to express our thanks to everyone who kindly made the effort to visit our stand and gave us the time to talk through examples of how we’ve supported businesses across many sectors.
It’s my passion to support manufacturers with their aspirations, be it expansion, upgrades or improving productivity. As a process engineer by background, I’m only too aware of some of the pitfalls that manufacturers can face when trying to realise these aspirations.
This show gave me the ideal chance to listen to the challenges that many manufacturers face and appraise them of how RB Plant could take their business to the next level.
One key theme I learned from many visitors to our stand is their struggle in finding a partner who can act as a one-stop resource and flexibly support their plans. Some examples include:
- Using an equipment supplier who has a vested interest in promoting their technology which ultimately may or may not be the optimal solution.
- Skipping the initial concept design which is often a false economy and can result in remedial work and unforeseen costs.
- Using a large consultancy who may effectively provide a design for part of their project but not an integral solution which leaves several gaps to be addressed by other third parties.
I believe that RB Plant’s holistic approach is an ideal match in addressing these challenges where others may not have succeeded. We have been providing engineering consultancy services since 1969 and can either provide a complete turnkey package from initial concept design right through to a fully operational facility or any project element in-between.
